ITI Institutes Focus On Skill Development : All IIT institutes concentrate on skill development of students. Today youth prefer officer job rather than outside work. Every year in Indian workforce out of 1.2 Crore, only 7% candidates get the job in organized sector due to lack of skills and practical knowledge. Huge numbers of graduates are unemployed. 5 Months, 8 ITI institutes every day
Due to quality education and employment, youth is attracting towards ITI Education. In last 5 months (April to August) 8 ITI institutes are established every day across the country. The interesting thing is that students are taking more interest in ITI institute rather than engineering colleges. Admission in engineering colleges is decreasing and other hand in ITI institutes students strength is increasing. This year 1, 71, 392 more students got admission in ITI education institutes.
Indian Industry is providing training to ITI students:
Population is growing more than employment and demand of jobs is also growing. But due to lower quality education graduates are not getting job according. ITI institutes are working to enhance the skill power of students. Due to quality education Indian industry is also providing training to ITI students so that students can easily get the high profile job with high salary package.
Maruti Suzuki is planning to set up automobile skill enhancement centers in Government ITI institutes. Through this skill development program every year more than 2100 candidates will be selected for training in these centers. Mahindra and Mahindra company is also upgraded the mechanic and solar trade in ITI Solan due to this students are also taking more interest in this field.
Including these offers, famous ITI institutes are also preparing students to enhance skill and practical industrial knowledge. For example 500 students of ITI Tarsali got the MNC job offer by September 2017.
How to get admission in ITI institutes:
Education qualification: 8th/10th/12th passed students of any subject can take admission in ITI institutes.
What ITI Institutes Offers to Students:
ITI institutes provide skill based education with 70% practical knowledge and 30% theory based knowledge. These institutes are preparing students for technical manpower jobs. Some courses are also designed for international level jobs.
ATS is the combination of job based training program which is the short duration course. CTS is long duration completely job bases training program because only training is not enough to get the desired job, trainee also need knowledge of industry.
To get admission in ITI CTS/ATS course students must be passed 8th/10th or 12th class.
ITI CTS/ATS Course Duration: 6 months to 4 years.
After this course students are ready to participate in All India Trade Test.
All India Trade Test Dates: April/May and October/November month every year
Qualified students get the National trade certificate and National apprenticeship certificate.
